Soapod provides an open-source, open standards Java application server. It embraces and implements an integrated peer-to-peer and service-oriented architecture based on open standards such as the Web service stack and JSR standards.
Soapod embodies and enhances concepts resulting from a 3 year European Union 6th framework project, the Digital Business Ecosystem. As a result, Soapod can be easily integrated with existing DBE software.
